EV CHARGER INSTALLATION
We specialize in installing residential and commercial EV Charging stations. We install Level 1 and Level 2 charging stations for electric vehicles in residential garages, carports, and commercial parking spaces. Level 1 Charging
Chargers with this type of charging use a special extension cord which you can plug into the outlet with the house voltage of 110 volts. This type of charging does not need a capacity upgrade. However, When you use a Level I charger, it should be on its own dedicated circuit. Level 1 charger is slow and can take up to 20 hours to charge some vehicles. If you want to have a fast charging, you might want to consider level 2.
240 Volt Circuits
Level 2 Charging needs 240 volts circuit. One of our expert electricians familiar with EV charger installation will determine whether or not your existing electric panel can handle the new circuit. If not, you will need to upgrade your electric panel before the charger can be installed. level 2 chargers are fast and you can charge your car overnight.
Rebates in California
California is offering rebates on charging stations installed in homes and business. The rebates are limited and given based on availability. Power companies are offering a lower electricity rate to those with chargers that use the charger at night. A meter will measure the car charger separately to ensure you are getting a discounted rate.
